Job Description:
Highly skilled Architect & Data Engineer with 8.6 years of hands-on experience in the development and optimization of data architectures, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions
Hands on experience on a Trade Surveillance project with a large UK bank
Re-engineered & transitioned monolithic Markets Abuse regulatory system to a IBM Private Cloud solution and replacing the multi-source data system with a data lake.
Experience on key regulatory projects MIFID, EMIR, TPM, BRRD, Best-EX, SFTR & Markets abuse Regulation.
Designed and implemented data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Hadoop, and more. Developed efficient ETL processes for the data warehouse.
Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, Developed and optimized Spark applications using Java, Hands-on experience with GCP stack & container orchestration using Kubernetes.
Utilized Kafka for real-time data streaming and message processing. Familiar with parsing and manipulating CSV & XML data & utilized Avro & Parquet Data.
Collaborated with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements for various projects.
