Position Summary:
The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data architecture and solutions to meet the organization's data management and analytics needs. The Data Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, develop data models, and ensure the integrity and security of data assets.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute for formal education). Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in data architecture or related roles. Proven experience in designing and implementing data architecture solutions, including data models, database design, and data integration strategies. Strong expertise in relational databases, SQL, and database design principles. Minimal exposures on cloud Techstacks -AWS/Azure ADFs - Preferably in AWS ETLs Glue and Warehouse/database - AWS Redshift. 7+ years of experience on SQL Server Instance Maintenance or advance SQL query engine tuning(Trino) or Postgres. Familiarity with NoSQL databases, data lakes, data warehouses, and 5+ years of experience with big data technologies. 7+ years of experience with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., ETL, ELT, data integration platforms). Knowledge of data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write moderately complex correspondence. Ability to effectively converse and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Strong proficiency in advanced mathematics, including linear algebra, statistics, and probability theory. Ability to develop and optimize complex algorithms. Competence in data modeling, data mining, and quantitative analysis. Familiarity with mathematical methods for data analysis and pattern recognition. Experience with statistical software and tools (e.g., R, MATLAB, SAS). Capability to translate mathematical concepts into practical applications for data architecture and analysis. Problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges and optimize performance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret feedback from non-skilled technical system users to uncover the source of problems and persistence to efficiently provide solutions. Extreme attention to detail is required to ensure proper documentation of facts. Ability to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints, maintaining the security of data, competing priorities of high significance to the successful function of the department.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Snowflake). Strong knowledge of data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigner). Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Competence in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala). Understanding of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend). Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
