InterVision Company is seeking a Data Architect. The Data Architect is responsible for developing Conceptual and Logical Data Models as well as Data Flow Diagrams within the established Enterprise Architecture tool (e.g. Visio, SparxEA). The Data Architect is also responsible for developing processes, templates and tools that support maturation of the organization's Information Architecture as well as supporting the organization's Business and Technical Architecture initiatives.

  • 5+ years of functional experience within a large multi-system IT environment with a data management focus
  • 2+ years experience in Data Modeling and using and managing process model databases and repositories
  • 1+ year of experience in Data Management, Data Quality & Data Standards, and Data Analysis
  • 3+ years of experience gathering, documenting, designing, and applying data requirements and data standards
  • Experience in interpreting, analyzing, and applying healthcare transactions requirements to system applications across an enterprise as well as working with systems that contain a Medicaid component is preferred, but transferrable experience will be considered.
  • The ideal candidate is a quick learner and self-starter with knowledge of the Data Management Book of Knowledge (DMBOK)
  • The Data Architect must be able to ingest large amounts of information about the organization and then translate the business information and requirements into data architecture and infrastructure requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, especially Health Information & Informatics Management, is preferred, but not mandatory
