Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Data/Business Analyst for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of full-time experience in data structure management, analytics, and report generation via Power BI, as well as a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Construction, or related fields. This position will be full-time, on-site. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York metropolitan area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop and track project performance metrics, reports, and collaboration sites to assist with project/program schedule monitoring and communicate status updates to management teams.
- Analyze and use data via Power BI to identify key project issues and variance from approved plans.
- Perform data visualization and forecast trends using statistics and established pattern-finding techniques.
- Managing data sets, ensuring they are clean, accurate, and ready for analysis, involving data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Prepares and assists in various levels of project reporting.
- Assists in process development and implementation of project control reporting procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following:
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Construction, or related fields.
- 5+ years of professional experience working directly as a full-time Data/Business Analyst using Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles and proficiency in Power BI and other data tools.
- Excel expertise including macro development, look-up tables, complex formulas, and pivot tables.
- Proficiency in data management, production, and report development is required.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat).
