Indotronix is seeking a hybrid- Data Center Engineer in the Pittsburgh(PA) , Sandston(VA) locations Position: Data Center Engineer Position Location: Hybrid - 3 days in office - Preference in order: 1) Pittsburgh Data Center - Pittsburgh(PA) 2) Richmond Data Center -Sandston(VA) Working Hours (Flexible): M-F 8-5, occasional weekend or night work (once a month) Travel: Maybe to other Data Centers twice a quarter, less than once a month. Days of the week: M-F OT: 2-3hrs week Duration: Contract to hire Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Works directly with vendor/suppliers QTS, Digital Realty, and Data Bank coordinating power and cabling, while defining and procuring copper and fiber. 2. Works internally with network and deployment on connectivity requirements. 3. Full cabinet deployments Must Have Technical Skills: (Top 3 In Order of Importance) 1. Understanding of corning optical fiber technology 2. Data Center Facilities infrastructure4 3. Hardware rack-and-stack 4. Provision and install power and network cables 5. Troubleshoot and resolve first level network and issues Flex Skills/Nice to Have: Microsoft Office tools - Excel..etc Jira Confluence Service Now Soft Skills: Attention to detail, strong organization skills, communication skills. Interview Process: Approx an hour - 1 round of interviews - team lead and manager will conduct interview as a panel and have a quorum. 2nd round only as a tie-breaker.
