The Dojo team is looking for a hands-on, self-directed engineering technician to operate and maintain the facility systems serving the Tesla Dojo supercomputers. This position is a full time, on-site role. Responsibilities Operational expert for mechanical system at the Dojo facilities. The mechanical systems and equipment can include pumps, piping, chillers, cooling towers, CRAH units, etc.Available for occasional on-site emergency calls nights and weekendsDevelop preventative maintenance plans. Drive the execution of both preventative and emergency maintenance for facility equipmentCollaborate with building facilities team to ensure reliability of building facilities systems impacting Dojo spacesIdentify and maintain spare parts inventory to minimize downtimeCoordinate and supervise scheduled system shutdowns as well as develop and implement energy monitoring metricsSupport commissioning efforts by witnessing equipment startup, assisting with functional testing, and monitoring construction progress Requirements 5+ years of hands-on operations or facilities work experience.
