Job Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel).
• Familiarity with DCIM (cable mgmt. virtual tools) and ticketing tools. (ServiceNow preferable).
• Ability to maintain correspondence with customers regarding installation/project status.

Scheduling:

• Please note that the work shift will vary, it will probably start 8am-5pm for training and gradually move to off shift/afterhours work (i.e., 2nd or 3rd or weekend shifts or night maintenances as needed). This will be a 40-hour week.

Fieldwork:

• Ability to install complete copper and fiber (Patching and infrastructure) circuits.
• Ability to use and read Fluke instruments.
• Ability to conduct and maintain inventory levels.
• Ability to work with and install pre-terminated fiber solutions.
• A+ level of computer knowledge a plus. Ability to identify and swap server components.
• Familiarity with racking and stacking equipment (Routers/switches/servers).
• Familiar with terminations of 33, 66, 110 blocks up to 300 pair cable.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Education

• HS Diploma and/or equivalent degree in Trade or 5+ years' experience
