Job DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: Data Control & Projects Support Analyst (DCPSA) DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Employee Services / Education Center STATUS: Classified - Exempt, Full Time HOURS OF WORK/CALENDAR: 40+ hours a week / 242-day calendar STARTING PAY: $65,000 POSITION SUMMARY: The DCPSA will be responsible for providing advanced data analysis tasks involving the performance of specialized duties relating to compensation and payroll. This position involves compiling and analyzing statistical compensation and payroll data. The DCPSA will play a key role in supporting Employee Services projects ensuring the smooth operation of project activities while managing project-related correspondence and communications. The DCPSA will assist in resolving complex escalations, train team members, and assist with projects that include process automation, integration, and implementation. This position reports to the Director of Employee Services.PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures to improve data integrity and project outcomes. Maintain and continuously improve operations standards. Implement methods for improving and establishing controls for critical processes. Perform ongoing training and education with internal and external peers to ensure process adherence. Partner with the Core HCM & Reporting Functional Analyst (CHRFA) to own and streamline data workflows and processes. Serve as backup for the CHRFA. Coordinate project activities, resources, tasks and issues within the Employee Services Department to ensure successful completion of the project. Serve as the primary point of contact for Employee Services' new and ongoing projects, providing regular updates on project status and timelines. Submit tickets, follow up on outstanding HCM issues and escalate on urgent issues as needed on behalf of the Employee Services Department. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share information related to projects. Monitor project progress and recommend adjustments as needed to the Director of Employee Services. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: Associate's degree in business administration, finance, human resource management, or a related field required 5-7 years of experience related to Data Management, Project Coordination and/or HRIS/HCM systems support Ability to work independently analyze problems, to compile data, to determine facts, and reach a logical conclusion Strong organizational and time management skills and can prioritize work, with an emphasis on the accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in engaging stakeholders and end-users Experience with HRIS systems preferred Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion preferred Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of MS Office applications; proficiency in Excel required Attention to detail and strong organizational and work prioritization skills Solid understanding of data quality management, and data reporting strategies and principles Ability to take the initiative to solve complex problems in swiftly changing situations Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, competence and professionalism within the team PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the performance of light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The position typically involves 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. The position requires visual acuity as well as frequent hearing and talking and some crouching, grasping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and significant fine finger dexterity. This position is performed in an indoor and generally hazard free environment.
