Responsibilities

  • Create, test, implement and maintain reports and ad-hoc queries providing actionable information necessary to support business or customer requirement. Identify data needed to provide the desired output. Design and develop analytic and reporting solutions appropriate for Business Intelligence platform. Fine tune reports and dashboards for optimal performance. Assist with issue resolution and end user support. Be efficient with BI reporting tools. Use the latest techniques in the industry to make the reporting process efficient which includes but is not limited to automation, speed, aesthetic designs and reducing complexity.
  • Work with the business to analyze data and understand business and reporting needs. Translate the requirement into technical specifications. Communicate status reports/important findings to management and decision-makers. Work to achieve standardized business reports and data across the organization or for customers. Perform data analysis on analytical and reporting requirements and recommend solutions for development.
  • Build, enhance, and support data modeling and extraction of data elements from multiple internal or external databases to meet business or customer reporting requirements. Design and build data load process taking all dependencies into consideration. Support data loading and extraction processes including ensuring optimal performance. Recommend and develop new metrics that may benefit the company or customers.
  • Perform on going self-study of job-related issues. Conduct and/or attend both formal and informal departmental and computer training. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-4 years related experience
  • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, MIS or related field)

Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills. May expect experience with SAP system configuration and administration desired or with advanced visualization tools such as SSRS, Tableau or Power BI.
  • May develop custom and complex queries in SQL for reporting needs. May need the understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS development.
  • Capable of implementing low-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
  • Good understanding of SQL familiarity with creating custom DAX expressions/functions.

Remote Work Policy: Crown provides one day per week of remote work for this position, with four days required on-site.
