Job Description: Lower is searching for an accountable, multitalented data engineer to facilitate the operations of our data analysts. To ensure success as a data engineer, you should demonstrate flexibility, creativity, and the capacity to receive and utilize constructive criticism. A formidable data engineer will demonstrate unsatiated curiosity and outstanding interpersonal skills. What you'll do:

  • Design and enhance denormalized analytics tables in Snowflake to support flexible reporting and querying
  • Requirements gathering with business and sales stakeholders
  • Design and maintain effective data pipelines.
  • Create scalable ETL processes, ensuring standard tables built from heterogeneous sources
  • Optimize existing frameworks, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and delivery
  • Collaborate directly with developers during feature design to ensure key data points are stored in application databases
  • Develop, document, and execute ETL and pipeline unit tests
Who you are:
  • 3-5 years as a Data Engineer
    • Experience as a Data Analyst or Software Engineer a plus
  • Strong Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Strong Proficiency in DBT
  • Strong Familiarity with Snowflake
  • Familiarity with BI Tools. Domo Preferred, Tableau or Power BI also useful
  • Excellent Analytical and data-modeling skills
  • Ability to manage a pipeline of duties with minimal supervision

Where you'll work:
  • Hybrid. Most days are from home but about once a week at our New Albany, OH office located at 7775 Walton Parkway, 4th Floor, New Albany, OH 43054
