Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic Information Technology team. As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights that support business objectives. You will also be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and analytical solutions using the Palantir Foundry Platform and Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources into Palantir Foundry.
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports in Power BI to visualize and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Perform data analysis and exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and data science.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • One to five years proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Scientist, with a strong focus on data pipeline development and data analysis.
  • Understanding of machine learning, large language models, or other AI concepts.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and/or R.
  • Familiarity with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Experience with machine learning and statistical modeling.
  • Knowledge of Palantir Foundry Platform a plus.
