This position is a full-time on customer site opportunity.Functional Description:The Data engineer is responsible for sourcing data to manipulate and transform the harvested data into a format that supports analysis. A preferred tool would be Elastic Stack, to include Elastic Searches, Kibana and Log Stash. Familiarity with this suite of tools will be used to gather, parse information from Log Files and visualize is required.Education:· Bachelor's degree or above in IT, computer science and related fields.· Prior US military experience is highly preferred.Experience:· 10+ years related experience.· A strong background in Data Collection, Reduction Analysis and visualization is preferred. Specific experience desired with the programing language used for automation, application development and data manipulation.· Pandas must be used as the source for extensive Python Libraries.
