The Challenge:
Provide data analytic support for research projects in the domains of psychological assessment, cognitive science, and human performance
Provide technical expertise for cleaning and preparation of large data sets for analysis, including integration with multiple data sources
Generate creative and novel data reduction and analysis solutions for experimental and non-experimental results.
Develop data reports with visualizations per the specifications of the principal scientist(s)
Provide documentation support with reports, papers, research protocols, presentations, and posters
Work is to be primarily performed on a government installation. The normal work week is Monday through Friday 0800 to 1630.
Some offsite travel (~10%) may be required for data collection efforts, presentations, etc
What sets you apart:
Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or related field with at least two years' applicable experience
The candidate will be required to acquire and maintain, at a minimum, a SECRET classification access level. Preference will be given to a candidate who already has this clearance level. You can obtain this after hire.
Due to Federal contract requirements, US citizenship is required
The candidate will maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record
You may also have:
Experience in a human subject research setting
Experience with psychological research data
Experience working with the US federal government
The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
The ability to work within a collaborative team environment, with demonstrated personal drive and initiative to achieve goals
Interpersonal communication skills are required to interface will all affected teams, personnel, and vendors
An organized and detail-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic
Ability to work self-sufficiently given direction and resources
Ability to think critically, solve problems independently and exercise judgement and common sense
Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work with minimum supervision
