Healing Hands Pediatrics is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk/Administrative Assistant to become a valuable member of our administrative team. Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update patient information in our electronic health record system.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the calendar for medical staff.
- Prepare and maintain various reports and documents as requested.
- Help with patient registration and insurance verification processes.
- Provide administrative support to medical staff and ensure smooth communication within the office.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all data handling.
- Assist in special projects as needed to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in administrative support or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using electronic health record systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
