Data Entry Clerk

10 hours/week flexible schedule; must be available between the hours of 9a-5p Monday-Friday.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a candidate that will be responsible for data entry for PAS (Prescribed Alternative Services) and OASAS (Office of Addiction Services and Supports).

Requirements:

+ High School diploma or equivalent.

+ Prior experience working in an office setting; medical office experience preferred.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

+ Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors and ensure accuracy in data entry.

+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in data entry software and databases (e.g., Microsoft Excel, EHR systems).

+ Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with team members and understand data requirements.

+ Organizational Skills: Keep track of multiple data sets and deadlines.

Essential Functions:

+ Data Input: Accurately enter patient and service data into PAS (Prescribed Alternative Services) systems.

+ Record Management: Maintain and update records as necessary, ensuring compliance with regulations.

+ Data Verification: Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness.

+ Reporting: Generate reports as needed for audits or performance reviews.

+ Confidentiality: Ensure all patient information is handled in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

+ Other duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.
