Serve as a technician in the area of financial litigation and is responsible for directly and independently supporting Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) by providing a wide variety of technical assistance services. 2. Perform a wide range of technical support duties involving the processing of cases within the financial litigation function. 3. Use a variety of automated systems to conduct research, initiate documents for debt collection actions and track debtor accounts. 4. Use common online resources, obtain and analyze routine financial information on debtors to determine their present and future potential ability to pay. 5. Communicate with debtors to present options for debt payments, answer questions, explain pertinent procedures, clarify information, and work cases to resolution. 6. Prepare payment plans which involve reviewing financial asset information the debtor has submitted. 7.
