We weathered the global financial crisis in 2008 and began offering ourdata products to wider markets.At LinkUp, we remain rigorously committed to delivering deep, timely, and accurate job market data that provides clarity and confidence in understanding the complex dynamics between work and the world we live in.We're looking for co-workers who share our values-kind, smart, helpful, invested and balanced-so we can continue to be a world leader in delivering the cleanest, most accurate real-time jobs data that helps organizations make quantum strategic leaps.About the roleThe role of the Data Entry & Quality Specialist will consist of a combination of research, compilation, addition, and maintenance of various data sets for multiple internal teams.This is a hybrid role for local candidates based near Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are not able to sponsor visas at this time.Key responsibilities include
  • Use various online tools to research relevant data sources
  • Evaluate the integrity of data sources
  • Compile, enter, validate and maintain collections of data
  • Identify incorrect or incomplete data
  • Communicate effectively with teammates on various projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with the tech team to help identify and resolve data anomalies
Required skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, economics, business) or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities with support and direction
  • Time management skills, with integrity and honesty
  • Ability to work productively while working independently
  • Ability to use various tools to track the progress of projects
  • Must have keen attention to detail, and embrace reading of announcement or news, during research
  • Experience and skill in Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with the Internet - search, translation, Google Drive, etc.
  • Ability to assist with the documentation, standardization, and streamlining of your daily workflow to help us continue to grow and improve
  • Ability to track and create reports on the quality of the managed datasets.
