Job Description:

Our client is a local leader adding to their team and growing. They seek someone with strong data entry and administrative skills to join their team!

The Data Entry Representative is responsible for working with data, MS Excel, and industry-specific programs to process lists and different data types. This position offers a unique opportunity to be in the beginning of a strategic growth opportunity within the team. The chosen individual must be capable of highly detailed and accurate work while possessing the skill to write processes and define critical business managerial controls to ensure the correct processing of payments received. This person must be able to work independently while exceeding goals and expectations.

Compensation: $25-$28/hr

Availability: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for following all company policies and cultural expectations.
  • Develop, improve, and follow all managerial controls and procedures.
  • Work with co-workers to process work promptly to meet client deadlines.
  • Communicate with vendors as needed for machine service calls and other issues.
  • Receive incoming mail, open, extract, scan, and deposit mail for the appropriate customer.
  • Responsibilities include using the job ticket and related contents, using Adobe Illustrator or related software to format and merge data, and outputting a print file for proofing.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of standard graphic design programs such as Adobe InDesign is required
  • Strong attention to detail is a must-have skill
  • 1+ years' experience in a data processing role is a bonus
  • Ability to multi-task and think on your feet
  • Highly organized
  • Able to write process documents, create workflow diagrams, conceive of and write process controls
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work extended hours during peak demands
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
  • Experience in the writing process and training documentation
  • Experience working with Adobe Illustrator or other related graphics design projects
