ROLE We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Engineer ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design & develop enterprise-wide (on-prem, cloud) data governance programs, frameworks, and principles comprising of latest industry best practices
- Develop policies and processes for all data governance-related aspects of data collection, storage, access, sharing, usage, quality, archival, privacy, security, technology, tools, modeling, visualization
- Help existing Data Governance committee with governance policies, processes creation and compliance.
- Define data quality controls, monitoring and remediation process partnering with the domain owner, data product, and analytics team
- Lead team members responsible for MDM solution implementation, data quality engineering, governance analysts, MDM data analysts, data stewards and other governance-related aspects
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 7+ years' experience in developing and implementing policies, and processes for all Data Governance aspects for both on-prem and cloud assets
- Some experience in the insurance domain/ data is a must
- Technical governance tools Unity Catalog
- Good to have - Colibra, Axon/EDC, Informatica, Alation, etc.
- B.S. Degree in a data-centric field (Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or other science field), Information Systems, Information Processing or engineering.
- Excellent communication & leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate team members
- Knowledge of the latest industry trends, tools used to manage/implement data governance components
- Ability to work independently with some level of ambiguity and juggle multiple demands
