Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data & Integration Operations Lead to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of critical applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in databases, integration platforms, reporting tools, and other production environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability while providing leadership to the support team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Support and Maintenance:
o Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to ensure high availability and reliability of systems.
o Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for root cause analysis and incident resolution.
2. Team Leadership:
o Lead a team of production support engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
o Define and enforce best practices, ensuring high-quality support services.
3. Database Management:
o Support and maintain databases such as Oracle DB, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
o Optimize database performance and execute backup and recovery strategies.
4. Integration:
o Manage and troubleshoot data pipelines and integrations using Talend.
o Ensure seamless data flow across systems.
5. Reporting and Analytics:
o Support reporting tools like MicroStrategy and Power BI to deliver critical business insights.
o Collaborate with business units to customize dashboards and reports.
6. Platform Management:
o Utilize platforms like Git for version control and Jira for project tracking and issue resolution.
o Leverage low-code platforms to enhance and automate workflows.
7. Continuous Improvement:
o Analyze system performance trends and identify areas for improvement.
o Collaborate on enhancement projects to ensure optimal system functionality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in production support or related roles.
Proficiency in database management (Oracle DB, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
Hands-on experience with integration tools (Talend) and reporting platforms (MicroStrategy, Power BI).
Familiarity with development tools like Git, Jira, and low-code platforms.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in databases, integration tools, or reporting platforms.
Prior experience in automation and process improvement.
