The Data Intelligence Director will play a key role in leading and delivering the Data & Analytics related to the Client and Sales Related Data such as Profitability and Return Models, Client Wallets, Credit Lines and Risk Metrics. This role has a Global footprint and will have significant impact in terms of influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others across the Global Sales and broader Markets organization.This position requires collaboration with various teams within Global Sales (e.g., Sales Management, Client Management, and Client Strategy, Client Facilitation and Regional teams) and more broadly across Markets, to align, coordinate, challenge and implement results with components of the data intelligence and analytics framework.This hands-on role will be responsible for identifying, anticipating, challenging, and mitigating risks related to data that could affect business objectives, and minimizing operational challenges for data acquisition / quality / maintenance / management etc. This role will also be responsible for the application of in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new data techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function.Responsibilities:Lead various Data efforts, including database administration, data analysis, maintenance, data quality and database management or database architecture / design engineering.Follow and enhance standard guidelines, best practices and identify / resolve data related issues in a timely manner.Manage work flow or process change and redesign, of the multiple data feeds & analytics. Accountable for regular reporting and process administration.Help lead and guide a full Technology team and partner with Data Quality team.Manage day-to-day work of junior employees, but will not typically have formal management role.Evaluate complex issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:15+ years of experience.Ability to think strategically, creatively problem solve, and the ability to engage resources outside of their direct control to achieve objectives.Experience with Bank's Data systems and data architecture and prior work experience in a quantitative field is a plus.Understanding of the Markets/Investment Banking products and customer life cycle.Fluency in Financial and Capital data for a Financial Institution.Strong analytical skills in order to filter prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.Excellent communication and diplomacy skills.Job Family Group: Decision ManagementJob Family: Specialized Analytics (Data Science/Computational Statistics)Time Type: Full timePrimary Location: New York, New York, United StatesPrimary Location Full Time Salary Range: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
