Data Management Clerk General Shale, the nation's leading manufacturer of brick and masonry materials, is seeking an experienced, skilled individual for the position of Data Management Clerk in Johnson City, Tn. Position's Primary Responsibilities This individual will be responsible for timely entry of master data into the SAP ERP system as well as modifying existing data.
- Create, edit, and maintain master data including but not limited to: Customer Master, Vendor Master, and Material Master data.
- Analyze master data for errors and consistency.
- Provide assistance in resolution of master data inconsistencies.
- Provide assistance to other departments regarding master data.
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in data entry and experience with master data entry preferred. (Experience in SAP environment a plus)
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to enter data accurately and timely into ERP system.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with strong listening skills, regularly engaging with functional managers and subordinates.
- Self-motivated and strong ability to work independently
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong computing skills including Microsoft Excel
