Role: Data Integration Manager
Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-month contract
Pay Rate: Up to $55/hr W2 (Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, LTD Insurance)
Are you ready to take charge of strategic data initiatives and lead transformative projects in our client's fast-paced environment? As a Data Integration Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of data transformation strategies, fostering collaboration across functions, and ensuring the successful execution of key data initiatives.
What You'll Do:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and inspire a team, overseeing performance, development, and team deliverables while managing budgets and planning.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and manage relationships with cross-functional teams, facilitating meetings and ensuring alignment on project goals and priorities.
- Risk & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential risks and issues, coaching project leads on solutions, and escalating when necessary.
- Governance Oversight: Refine and prepare content for governance forums, ensuring high-quality, actionable materials.
- Project Coordination: Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring dependencies are addressed, tasks are allocated, and timelines are met.
- Strategic Problem-Solving: Offer innovative solutions to resolve complex challenges, aligning with organizational policies and best practices.
- Data Initiative Leadership: Oversee data initiatives, including governance, data quality, taxonomy, lineage, and requirements gathering, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Process Optimization: Map current and future state processes and contribute to the design and implementation of process improvements in collaboration with technology and operations teams.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Uphold organizational standards, drive adherence to regulatory requirements, and promote a culture of accountability.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 6–10 years of relevant experience, ideally within banking or finance, with a strong track record of managing and delivering complex projects.
- Adaptability: Ability to navigate shifting priorities and thrive in dynamic environments.
- Data Expertise: Familiarity with core data concepts, governance practices, and quality frameworks.
- Strategic Communication: Excellent ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences, drive consensus, and build influential relationships across all organizational levels.
- Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work cross-functionally, integrating perspectives to achieve shared objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of data ecosystems and experience with process improvement initiatives.
