Job Description:

We are seeking a senior-level, client-facing Data Modeler with Analytics experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling and business intelligence / reporting / analytics tools, with strong hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift, Amazon QuickSight, and / or Power BI. The successful candidate will work directly with major financial institutions and play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven decision-making infrastructure across clients. Key Responsibilities

    • Data Modeling: Design, implement, and maintain data models in Amazon Redshift to support various technical and business needs.
    • Reporting & Analytics: Create reports, visualizations, dashboards and supporting data assets using Amazon QuickSight and Power BI.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data and visualization requirements and deliver appropriate designs and solutions.
    • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models and visualizations.
    • Best Practices: Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in data modeling and analytics technologies and apply them to the business and technical domain.
    • Consulting Mindset: Work independently, become a trusted consultant to the client and identify potential opportunities for engagement expansion
Qualifications
    • BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data modeling
    • At last 5 years worth of experience with Amazon Redshift, Amazon QuickSight, and/or Power BI.
    • Experiene working in the financial industry is a huge plus
    • Experience working in a consulting environment is highly desired
    • Proficiency in SQL and database design.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Experience with other reporting tools and data platforms.
    • Knowledge of Python or other programming languages.
    • Experience in cloud data infrastructure and services.

The base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000. However, the base salary range may vary depending on the individual's job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance. Salary range disclosure as required by S9427A when hiring in New York.
