  • Assisting with the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data between on-premises and cloud-based storage systems
  • Exporting/Importing client and attorney data in support of the onboarding and offboarding procedures in accordance to Firm policy; tracking all client release letters and enforce policy requirements
  • Facilitating data transfers between platforms like SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and document management systems
  • Providing hands-on support for data operations tasks in Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint
  • Ensuring data is stored and managed in compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant legal frameworks
  • Assisting in implementing automation processes for recurring tasks such as data imports/exports, backups, and audits
  • Providing technical support to end-users and teams regarding data operation issues, including troubleshooting connectivity, data access, searching and integration problems
  • Assisting with data restores and data destruction requests from multiple platforms, including file shares, DMS and Microsoft Exchange

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • MCSA Certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in data operations, IT support, or data management roles
  • Experience working with Microsoft Purview, Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint and document management platforms
  • Understanding of the core concepts of permissions, file systems and mapping drives
  • Experience with Exchange management tools
  • An understanding of data governance and compliance practices, particularly in regulated industries
  • Familiarity with cloud storage systems, data migration tools, and scripting languages such as PowerShell
  • Experience with ETL processes, data transformation, and system integration
Pay Range for Candidates in Baltimore, MD:$69,000 - $92,000 per yearThe range provided is the minimum and maximum salary that Venable in good faith believes at the time of this posting that it is willing to pay for the advertised position.   • Minimum 2 years of experience in data operations, IT support, or data management roles.
