Not only is this tedious and time-consuming, but it is rife with opportunities for manual data entry errors, inconsistent reporting, and lost information. Enter Arch. Arch is a Series A financial technology company that automates the management of private investments, improving access, understanding, and the human experience of investing across asset classes. Arch delivers standardized data, documents, and insights in a single platform, avoiding the need to chase information across dozens or hundreds of fund manager portals.Our purpose is to save investors time while empowering them to make more informed investment decisions, leading to better financial outcomes. We are a fast growing, dynamic company serving hundreds of clients, and we are looking to hire in all departments as we scale. We are looking to hire a Data Quality Associate to play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of alternative investment data across all stages of the client life cycle. A successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally and leverage their attention to detail to identify and resolve potential data quality issues flagged by our data quality system. This role is instrumental in maintaining high standards of data quality to ensure client satisfaction. In this role, you will:
  • Utilize automated tools and systems to monitor and identify potential data quality issues.
  • Investigate flagged issues, collaborating with relevant teams to understand the root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of incoming data sets, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
  • Reconcile investment data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality processes, issues, and resolutions.
  • Generate reports on data quality metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and presenting findings to the management team.
  • Work closely with the client onboarding, support, and operations-engineering teams to ensure accurate and complete data entry during client engagements.
Reach out to us if you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics) or experience in data quality management, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to spot patterns and anomalies.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools and techniques, including SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Bonus points if you:
  • Are familiar with the alternative investment industry and the mechanics of investing in private equity, hedge funds, and private companies.
  • Have a background in private banking, investment management, or a related field.
  • Have taken finance or accounting courses.
