BUILD YOUR FUTURE WITH VOLTVolt is immediately hiring for Data Science Engineer in Tyson's Corner, VA.As a Data Science Engineer, you will:Collaborate with data and subject matter experts from Client and its customer teams to seek, understand, validate, interpret, and correctly use data and business insightsTrain, validate and deploy machine learning pipelinesTest, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customersIdentify application performance bottlenecks and implement optimizationsWrite application specifications, tutorials, and documentationThis is a Full-time 12-month contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance DesiredPreferred Skills:MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent fieldsApplied Machine Learning experience (regression and classification, supervised, and unsupervised learning)Strong mathematical background (linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics)Proficiency in time-series data analysis, cleansing, and normalizationExperience with scalable Machine Learning (MapReduce, streaming)Software development experience with JavaScript and PythonExperience with Git or other version control softwareAbility to drive a project and work both independently and in a teamSmart, motivated, can-do attitude, and seeks to make a differenceExcellent verbal and written communicationEducation:Bachelor's degree RequiredPay Rate: $95-$100 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
