- Employ advanced data science techniques and analytical problem-solving to address complex business challenges. Utilizing data, you'll identify patterns, drive product development, enhance user experiences, and inform strategic decisions.
- Develop highly abstracted, scalable, and efficient data systems based on a deep understanding of data modeling principles.
- Dive into large datasets to extract actionable insights, leveraging your extensive knowledge of our products and systems alongside advanced analytic techniques.
- Construct and maintain robust data pipelines and analytic tools that improve data accessibility, facilitate sophisticated analysis, and support data-driven decision-making across our organization.
- Generate intuitive data visualizations and dashboards, making complex findings accessible to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- Document your design rationale, data analysis methodologies, model development, and evaluation outcomes to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Communicate insights, findings, and data-driven recommendations clearly through reports and presentations.
- Streamline the data ingestion process with automated solutions, ensuring a seamless and reliable flow of data from various sources into our system.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the lifecycle of our data pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with other data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to align on business needs and deliver insightful, data-based solutions.
- Explore new tools, techniques, and data sources to continuously innovate and elevate our data analytics capabilities.
What You Bring to the Table
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Relevant work experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated fluency in Python and SQL.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling, data mining techniques, and a solid foundation in data modeling principles.
- Understanding principles of ensuring data quality and developing tooling for data integrity.
- Strong independent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical partners.
- Experience with Apache Spark, AWS cloud services, GitHub, and Airflow is desirable.
Compensation Range: $135,000 - $165,000*Our compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions or bonus plans.
