Our GBB (Global Black Belt) organization is a team of highly specialized and technical professionals within our Microsoft Customer & Partner Solutions organization (MCAPS) who work with customers to enable some of the most complex and innovative solutions, providing differentiated technical leadership and guidance along the way. The Data team within the GBB organization consists of Specialists and Technology experts, who focus on specific domains, industries, and workloads, such as Opensource Databases, Postgres, Cosmos, SQL Server, Azure AI Services, and Application Development.
The Data Solution Sales Director - Americas is a senior leader within our worldwide Data & AI commercial solution area organization. The role leads, develops, and manages a team of high-performing Solution & Technology Specialists in the Global Black Belt team. These technical sellers are assigned Data workloads working with Microsoft's customers and partners to enable and accelerate their strategy to the cloud. You will lead a team to help customers derive value through their Data modernization projects and application modernizations on Azure. This role will require travel to customer sites.

ResponsibilitiesSolution Area Specialists M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,000 - $217,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $168,600 - $237,500 per year.
