We are seeking a skilled and experienced hands-on Data Solutions Strategist / Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for devising a data solution strategy and architecture that would cover designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data architecture solutions that support our organization's strategic goals. You will work closely with senior business leaders within Commercial, Consumer, Risk and Finance areas to design a sustainable architecture on data solutions that would serve the bank data needs. Partner closely with data engineers, data scientists, and IT teams to ensure the effective use of data across the company and drive overall adoption of bank's enterprise data platform and standard data delivery channels. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and Development: •Design scalable and efficient data architectures, including data models, storage solutions, and data integration processes. •Develop data management frameworks and standards to ensure data integrity, quality, and security. •Create and maintain comprehensive data architecture documentation. 2. Collaboration: •Work closely with business leaders, data savvy colleagues to understand their business problems, desired outcomes using data strategy and translate these requirements into data solutions using various technology stack. •Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and software developers to implement data solutions. •Act as a liaison between IT and business units to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business objectives. 3. Implementation and Maintenance: •Hands-on implementation of data architecture projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. •Monitor and maintain data systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. •Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures. 4. Innovation and Best Practices: •Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data architecture and management. •Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the existing data infrastructure. •Promote best practices in data architecture and data management across the organization. 5. Compliance and Security: •Ensure data solutions comply with relevant data privacy and security regulations. •Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information. Qualifications: •Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. •Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, data management, or a related role. Technical Skills: •Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL and data warehousing solutions(Preferably Snowflake). •Knowledge of data integration tools (e.g., ETL processes, data pipelines). •Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). •Strong understanding of data governance and data security best practices. Soft Skills: •Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions •Strong communication and interpersonal skills. •Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. •Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality. Preferred Qualifications: •Professional certifications in data architecture or related fields. •Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics. •Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). •Familiarity with coding languages (e.g Python) The estimated salary range for this position is $175,000.00 to $220,000.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
