Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight.Join our passionate and accomplished team of experts as a leader of Data Engineers, Scientists, and Analysts. You will support the Blue Engines business unit by delivering top-notch rocket engines. You'll develop data solutions and provide reporting, analytics, sciences, and data services. Your expertise in wrangling data will be essential in a multifaceted environment, ensuring clarity and direction for your team. You will have a significant impact on the entire engine development lifecycle, from requirements to maintenance, with a focus on data flow.Who you are?You are an excellent communicator with experience addressing all levels of the businessYou have a talent for motivating and developing team membersYou are proficient working directly with our business to deeply comprehend our customers' problem statement and strive to develop end-to-end business solutionsYou are passionate about mapping business processes to data inputs and outputsYou are highly skilled in transforming unstructured/semi-structured/structured data into organized datasets used for both BI and software solutionsYou are customer-obsessed and passionate about the customer experience in everything you doYou have a strong passion for Blue's mission!QualificationsBachelor's degree and 3+ years leading a BI development team or 8+ years of relevant work experienceProven experience designing and architecting sophisticated data pipelines and data solutions to meet various data requirements.Solid experience in soliciting requirements, identifying and detailing the problem statement, and developing a solution that exceeds the customer's needs.Good experience in extracting data and developing data modelsExperience with hierarchical data structures and recursive processing techniquesAbility to negotiate through all levels of the businessAttention to detail and high level of accuracySelf-starter, strong bias for action while navigating ambiguityDemonstrable experience in data engineering and data sciencesDevelopment experience building and supporting ETL and CI/CD pipelinesProficient in Python writing scripts that extract and transform data from various source systemsExperience working with and supporting AWS productsExperience working with Databricks, PostgreSQL, or similarMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:Experience with dbt, Dagster, Tableau, Flask, Terraform, Elasticsearch, Plotly, Spark, Palantir FoundryExperience with JIRA, Gitlab, and ConfluenceExperience with resource management, manufacturing, PLM tools, and supply chain operationsBusiness-proven experience in procurement, supply chain, design engineering, manufacturing, aerospaceCompensation Range for:WA applicants is $151,650.00-$212,310.00Other site ranges may differApplications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.Inclusivity StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
