We'd love for you to join our team!Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing intuitive and impactful data visualizations, utilizing both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom-developed solutions. The role requires expertise in working with complex datasets and translating them into actionable insights through visual storytelling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic and tactical decision-making processes across the organization.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop advanced data visualizations to simplify and manipulate medium to complex datasets into intuitive, interactive formats.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, iteratively creating enterprise-level visualizations using agile methodologies.Develop and maintain custom visualizations using tools such as D3.js, HTML, and JavaScript to meet unique business needs.Implement and optimize visualizations using COTS enterprise tools such as Qlik and SAP Lumira.Provide actionable insights by transforming ERP transactional and analytical data into clear and concise visual formats.Work with cross-functional teams to align visualizations with mission objectives and deliver impactful results.Stay current on data visualization trends and technologies, incorporating best practices to enhance user experience and functionality.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in a related field is required.Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data visualization, with demonstrated expertise in the responsibilities listed above.Required SkillsProficiency in custom development tools such as D3.js, HTML, JavaScript, and other frameworks for creating interactive visualizations.Experience working with COTS enterprise visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, SAP Lumira).Strong ability to work iteratively with business users to gather requirements and deliver tailored visualization solutions.Proven experience in developing visualizations for ERP transactional and analytical data.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.A proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and user satisfaction.Desired SkillsFamiliarity with agile software development methodologies.Knowledge of emerging trends and innovations in data visualization technologies.Experience in supporting strategic and tactical objectives through data visualization in mission-critical environments.Security ClearanceEligible to obtain a Public Trust clearanceMore About B&A:Notable ClientsB&A has grown to be a company that is trusted by our clients for exceptional service, innovative solutions, and inspired employees.
