**Job Summary**

As Data Warehouse Developer, you will be involved in the design, configuration, implementation, and proactive management of the organizations databases, data vault/warehouse solutions, backup, archiving, systems and monitoring resources.

**Job Description**

We are looking for a **Data Warehouse Developer?** **.** This position will be a **full-time** and **remote contract opportunity** **.** This project involves conversion of legacy data warehouse to a new architecture which includes Data Vault 2.0 and traditional Data Mart.

**What** **Youll** **Do**

+ Connect to new data sources

+ Explore data, model in the data vault and data mart

+ Configure and/or code data vault and data mart structures

+ Code complex stored procedures which implement business rules and load Fact tables

+ Convert complex existing report stored procedures from the legacy warehouse to the new one

+ Validate results using T-SQL; document all the differences

+ Troubleshoot code at all levels

+ Work with the report developers as they adapt to using the new warehouse

+ Individual will be on a very small team (2-3 people) and needs to be a self-starter who can quickly get up to speed

**What You'll Need**

Required:

+ 6+ years of T-SQL development. Very strong T-SQL skills needed

+ 4+ years SSIS experience required

+ Strong database and data warehouse modeling experience

+ Experience with Microsoft database projects (dacpac)

+ Experience with DevOps

+ Experience with Microsoft Access as a front end for SQL Server

Preferred

+ Experience with advanced T-SQL such as dynamic code generation, recursion, Gaps & Islands desirable

+ SSAS experience desired

+ Exposure to Data Vault

**Physical Demands**

+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
