The Database Administrator will play a key role in managing and optimizing database systems, ensuring security and data integrity.
What are the responsibilities?
- As a Database Administrator, you will:Implement & and maintain database management systems while adhering to security and performance standards.
- Participate in ongoing system monitoring and address performance or security issues.
- Manage backup and recovery processes, ensuring system optimization and data integrity.
- Provide administrative support for Cloud and DBaaS environments, addressing vulnerabilities and enforcing security policies.
- Collaborate with various teams to address resource bottlenecks, design secure databases, and support data migrations.
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience with database administration
- Oracle database experience on Unix is a plus
- Proficiency in programming or scripting, critical thinking, and database design
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety
