This person is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines. They will also work with large datasets and develop repeatable and scalable data products & services that meet business requirements.Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain data pipelines. Work with large data sets, developing repeatable and scalable data products and services that meet business requirementsAccountable for building an integrated data foundation that connects cross-functional data across the lifecycles of our assets to provide a 360-degree view of data to deliver insights and predictions - Petroctechnical data productsDesign and implement ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes from various sources, ensuring accurate and reliable data for analysis and decision-makingExpertise in optimizing queries and performance by establishing standards to minimize system workload and costsEnsure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data and take ownership of data quality for the pipelinesBuild and maintain data pipeline design, data model, and frameworks that drive Petroctechnical operational efficienciesParticipates in risk review process and Architecture Review board to ensure data projects align with the organization's risk management and architecture standardEnsure consistency of data systems, tools, and architectural best practices across the organization, driving adoption across our teams and systemsProactively identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvementsStays current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data management, governance, and architectureParticipate and support Agile quarterly planning for the teamCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between data architecture and overall IT and business strategiesEnsure consistency of data systems, tools, and architectural best practices across the organization, driving adoption across our teams and systemsKnowledge and Experience: 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering is requiredExperience building data pipelinesExperience designing and implementing ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes from various sources, ensuring accurate and reliable data for analysis and decision-making
