For more information, please visit us at . Position Summary RBCI is seeking a Database Engineer with Oracle 12 and SQL Server experience to support our DoD customer. This position supports the Fort Detrick, MD location (Contractor office within 10 miles of Fort Detrick). Candidates must be within commuting distance of Fort Detrick, MD. (Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply) Duties & ResponsibilitiesDatabase Programming Support Services
- Provide support for the re-programming of USAMMA programming tools from Oracle 12C to SQL Server.
- Support all of the TARA-trips (support from the office, no travel requirement), OTSG consultants, and the ICS team with informatics support on all modalities (20-30 modalities). The contractor shall complete a TARA-trip write-ups, when necessary.
- Provide database administration and/or data management expertise.
- Develop data models and information flows, modeling and constructing operation data stores, dimensional data modeling and data warehousing, and meta-data management.
Programming Support Services
- Provide computer programming assistance in the development and life cycle management of current and new product support tools.
- Responsible for the upkeep and converting of current systems from Oracle 12C to SQL Server.
- Provide support for the re-programming of the USAMMDA/USAMMA programming tool from Oracle 12C to SQL Server.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 3 years related experience; or a minimum of 4 years related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain NACI (background investigation) clearance.
- Seven (7) years of experience programming support services preferred.
- Experience in database object construction and modeling to include functions procedures, tables, and views.
- Experience in the upkeep and converting of current systems from Oracle 12C to SQL Server.
- Experience in Tableau.
- Experience in MS Business Intelligence.
