Location: Shreveport,LA, USA
The Day Care Monitor will take care of the needs of children placed in the day care facility while providing a safe and supervised environment.
Essential Duties:
* Maintains a safe environment for children placed in day care.
* Ensures that established rules of the day care center are enforced and adhered to.
* Maintains an attractive, orderly appearance in the day care center.
* Assists with the facilitation of entertaining and educational activities for the children.
* Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
* Regular and reliable attendance.
* Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
* Frequently uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks, hears, stands and walks, climbs or balances; stoops, and kneels. Occasionally sits, crouches, or crawls; tastes or smells. Occasionally lifts up to 45 pounds.
Certificates/Licenses:
* CPR and First Aid Certification. Applicable State or County Health Card and Sheriff's Card.
