What You'll Get To Do - The Excavator Operator is responsible for loading haul trucks in pit area.
- Conduct a thorough safety inspection daily on equipment and fill out all required paperwork
- Safe, effective utilization of equipment to load haul trucks and clear overburden ahead of mining operation
- Assist in moving pit pumps
- Daily preventive maintenance and lubrication of equipment
- Monitor unusual vibrations, noise or wear patterns and inform supervisor
- Other job duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For - Minimum of four years of experience operating similar equipment
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to operate equipment for long periods of time
- Frequently lift 10 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Have some mechanical knowledge
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
