Summary: Use robotic welder to weld components for hydraulic cylinders, rods, and tubes according to specifications provided. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, fixture setup, tacking components, monitoring and feeding robotic welder, maintaining quality of weld and components, using computer programs, and required cleaning and maintenance Competencies:
- Applies common sense understanding to basic work processes;
- Carries out detailed, but simply stated, written or oral instructions;
- Handles problems involving a few concrete and routine job specific variables;
- Demonstrates a working understanding and practical application of shop math: practical application of fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, practical algebra, geometric construction, and essentials of trigonometry required to interpret prints and produce quality parts;
