will be located ON-SITE in Putnam, CT.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:- Responsible for developing the site's DBS Strategy and Vision as a change facilitator. Collaborate with other site DBSLs and operation leadership to transform and support a continuous improvement culture, driving positive organizational change.
- Facilitate and conduct kaizens, problem-solving, and boot camps in DBS Fundamentals and DBS Lean tools. By managing the kaizen funnel tool and certified practitioner funnel to strengthen connections between customer-facing metrics and continuous process improvement efforts.
- Influence all levels of the organization, including Senior Leaders, Functional Leaders, project Managers, and practitioners, using effective coaching and mentoring skills to foster a supportive environment for growth and improvement.
- Grow the DBS muscle by establishing a team of certified practitioners in DBS and driving Lean Conversion across the operations with our organizational partners.
The essential requirements of the job include: - Bachelor of Science Degree in Science or Engineering related subject areas and over 10 years of business/operations management or manufacturing experience, including mastery of an array of Lean Tools and DBS Fundamentals for over 5 years, I am confident in my ability to drive success.
- Hands-on Gemba experience driving kaizen facilitation and leadership using DBS and lean tools. (Visual Daily Management, Problem Solving Process, Value Stream Mapping, Dynamic Kanban, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, 5S, TPM, SMED, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills, MS Excel proficiency, SAP knowledge, interpersonal, managerial, and facilitation skills, including public speaking and moderating.

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
