Full Time: ExemptLocations: Langley AFB, VAJob Description:Kirby Pike Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, experienced candidate for the DCGS technical support team. The successful Maintenance Technician candidate is responsible for system and network configuration and operation of AF DCGS ground and airborne sensor systems. The position requires daily coordination with ground system maintainers, mission planners, and operators to configure the systems, analyze performance, optimize system performance, troubleshoot anomalies to ensure operational success.Pre-mission responsibilities: Ensures SIGINT system and networks readiness, system/mission configuration relative to the sensor or communication link.Performs SIGINT and network pre-mission tasks (system reboots, ground rings, etc.)Completes SIGINT and networks data input for the mission template. Mission execution responsibilities: Provides real-time SIGINT and networks assistance to pilots, maintainers, operators and users.Documents issues with SIGINT End-to-End processes/systems.Monitors SIGINT sensor and networks; takes appropriate action to restore sensor and networks capabilities using Government provided tools to perform system restoral.Monitors all SIGINT related networks paths; takes appropriate action to restore communication.Monitors all SIGINT related DCGS systems and takes appropriate action to restore systems/processes. Post-mission responsibilities: Evaluates SIGINT sensor/ground and networks anomalies such as maintenance actions and Incident tickets.Submits SIGINT and networks Incident tickets and performs HW and SW maintenance actions as required.Completes SIGINT End-to-End mission debriefs and ensures appropriate maintenance personnel are aware of issues. Required Experience: Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.Ten (10) or more years Information System Security Management.Ten (10) or more years AF DCGS experience.Two (2) or more years Sensor Management. Preferred Experience: Experience with military SIGINT domains to include U-2, Global Hawk, MQ-1 and MQ-9 sensors and processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) architectures.Administration of COTS or GOTS software solutions used by DCGS operators and analysts (CICS, RIM, CETS, etc.).Familiarity with the Serena ticket reporting system.Understanding of cyber security tools and methods.Network administration and troubleshooting. Requirements: U.S. citizenship required.Active DoD TS/SCI clearance. Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field.DoD 8570.1 (IAT Level II or IAM Level I) certification (e.g. Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, SSCP, etc.).
