The Special Education Teacher ensures the implementation of evidence-based practices in providing direct Early Intervention Services with children and families, and is a part of the evaluation team implementing evaluations with children ages birth to 3 years old identifying Early Intervention eligibility.As a Special Education Teacher, you will act as a member of the KenCrest team, and actively participates in all meetings, lead the implementation of evaluation tools and Early Intervention evidence based practices that focus on the development of the child, empower and work collaboratively with co-workers and parents/caregivers to do their best work, delegate, certify and communicate, maintain productivity levels and submit accurate monthly billing, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education
- One or more years' experience/coursework with focus on infants/toddlers
- Experience working with infants and toddlers with disabilities, and their parents/caregivers
- Valid Driver's License
- Clear criminal record and other background checks in accordance with state requirements
