This position is temporary for the 2024-2025 school year. Caesar Rodney High School is configured for grade levels 9 through 12. The current student population is ~2,300 students. QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must have a minimum of five (5) successful years of classroom teaching experience. Experience working with secondary students preferred. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Classroom Instructional Support and Teacher Professional Growth across all content areas (curriculum, instruction, assessment, and classroom environment) Facilitate 504 meetings for academic and behavioral support Coordinate efforts with the district's visiting teachers to support student attendance Behavior Expectations and School Wide Discipline (experience with PBIS and restorative practices preferred) Utilize data analysis to improve instruction, student achievement, attendance, graduation rate, and school climate Daily lunch coverage, hallway monitoring, athletic coverage (nights and weekends), and support for various events and ceremonies at CRHS Support and assist in parent involvement / family engagement activities at CRHS Collaborate with the Administrative team to design and lead professional development sessions for the CRHS staff Perform such other assignments and accept such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Administration SALARY: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree.
