Decoral Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Plant/Department: Paint (work located at 400 building)

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Summary of Position: Load, unload and process material on the Decoral line.

Essential Duties:

• Verify material count and color is correct
• Verify correct wood grain film is available and ready to go
• Place material in wood grain sleeve per instructions
• Operate the sealing equipment
• Visually inspect wood grain after processing for customer requirements
• Will work in other areas when there are no wood grain orders - need to pass standard physical for racking/packaging etc.
• Load material onto roller table
• Watch for material and finish defects
• Make necessary system transactions
• Apply Lean principles in own work performance and drive Lean applications in company operations
• Other Duties as assigned

• Flex into other areas as needed

• Basic math and reading skills required
• Basic computer skills required
• Excellent verbal communication skills required

Job Specific Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Exposure to noise due to equipment in plant
• Exposure to smells from solvents from the paint line
