Job Description:

A Planner responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance production and modification activities, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness for Gulf of Mexico production assets.

  • Plan and schedule discipline-specific and general maintenance activities.
  • Provide detailed procedural job steps.
  • Coordinate 3rd party and construction needs for orders.
  • Requisition materials/services for repairs.
  • Comply with EME process requirements.
  • Develop 14/7-day schedules and prioritize/allocate resources.
  • Consult with Discipline Planners for work planning guidance.
  • Coordinate schedule and work prep activities with team members.
  • Create and modify corrective maintenance task lists.
  • Manage standing and weekly absence orders.
  • Ensure timely closure and TECO of orders.
  • Verify completeness of work prep before setting SAP status to EXEC.
  • Will work with Project Managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop work plans, track progress, manage critical path and identify and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare reports and presentations (including S-Curves and POB Plans) to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
  • Expert level in Primavera P6 planning major project planning for large offshore projects or major capital planning experience in the plant environment.
  • Read and interpret Isometric drawings and understand how to interpret data from an estimator with an understanding of risk calculations.
  • Provide detailed procedural job steps.
  • Identify and requisition required materials/services to facilitate repairs at the asset Identify production and/or POB impacts.

  • 3+ years of production setting experience required.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite including Excel skills with the ability to build charts and tables at ease as well as S-Curves and POB plans
  • 3 years experience using Primavera P6 in the construction industry is preferred.
  • Proficient level in Primavera P6 with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Work Packs and POB experience.
  • SafeGulf certification.
  • Strong Excel skills for charts and tables.
  • Excellent clerical, communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in production data entry and logistics.
  • SAP experience preferred.
