If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a passion for ensuring successful software releases, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Join a team helps with release and defect management within our operations engineering teams.Work across different functional areas coordinating defect ticket activities and serve as primary point of contact between Operations and our cross-functional partners: Engineering, Product, and Release Management.Drive resolution, prioritization, and updates for customer and non-customer impacting defects.Hosts meetings, generates reports, creates dashboards and optimizes defect intake process flows.Schedule and manage working sessions or trouble shooting sessions for high priority production and/or release blocking Issues.Works closely with Operations, Engineering, Product, and Release Management teams to track high priority customer and non-customer impacting defects.Create and own postmortem reporting on high priority defects once resolved.Engage Engineering and lab teams to involve external vendor issue resolution.Work closely with Release Management and Vendor Management team on blocking defects which need attention.Collaborative and possesses clear communication skills.Required Skills and Experience:2+ years of experience managing defects and/or releasesJira experience - creating dashboards, JQL, customizing workflowsConfluence experienceRoot cause analysis and/or testing experienceLearning mindset, analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to prioritize, set clear expectations, and focus on deadlines and deliverables.Ability to speak with people of all backgrounds and expertise, connecting with business leaders and technologists.Ability to clearly convey defect status, impacts, and priority to engineering, product, leadership, and stakeholders.Ability to drive collaboration across multiple teams, ensuring that the right people have the information they need for resolution.Excellent problem solving and decision making skillsHumble, open to learning, and receptive to constructive feedbackWhy Join Us?Be part of a growing and innovative team.Engage in meaningful projects that make a difference.Collaborate with talented professionals and expand your skill set.The compensation for this position is dependent on experience and is between $60-65/hrIf you are interested in applying for this position, please email a copy of your resume to Emily Pentico at [email protected]Apex Benefits Overview: Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
