Full time Deli Manager - 1228 An up-and-coming deli store in Manhattan is seeking a dedicated Deli Manager to oversee the deli department. The ideal candidate should have a passion for food and strong management skills, although being a chef is not required.Responsibilities Include:
- Department Management: Oversee daily operations of the deli department to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Staff Supervision: Manage and train deli staff, ensuring high standards of customer service and food handling.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
- Quality Control: Ensure all food items meet quality standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Store Closing: Manage the closing of the store from 2 pm to 10 pm, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a deli, grocery store, or food service environment.
