POSITION: Deli Prep CookThe deli prep is responsible for working with the deli team to produce consistent quality menu options that prioritize and highlight local ingredients. A successful deli team cook will be adaptive, creative, and a team player.DUTIES: Preparation and Production of Weekly Menu: Works with deli team to consistently produce high quality dishes in an efficient manner, according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recipes. Cleanliness and Food Safety: Maintains a clean and sanitary kitchen, following food safety regulations. Loss Reduction and Record Keeping: Works with Station management team to minimize waste from the retail department. Uses record keeping procedures to track food costs, production volumes, and losses.REQUIREMENTS: Minimum one year working professionally in a kitchen Comfortable following standard recipes and procedures Demonstrated understanding of a variety of cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Team oriented and able to demonstrate an understanding of how each team member's contribution helps to fulfill the mission of Farm Runners Upbeat and flexible.
