The Delivery/Installation Technicians will perform manual lifting, driving and appliance installation. Delivery/Installation Technicians report to the Delivery/Installations manger. They work as the lead of the team in providing delivery and installation of appliances throughout the Don's Appliance service area.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLoads trucks each morning with the daily route of deliveries. Scan and account for each appliance being loaded.Remove existing appliances from the premise if applicable; install new appliances including water lines, power lines and appropriate attachments, if applicable.Maintain invoices; receive payment for delivery and all records required for efficient quality and inventory control.Keep truck clean inside and outDrives truck in a safe manner at all times, always wearing seat belt.Drives truck to customer sites and successfully completes customer requests in a professional timely manner.Reports maintenance problems to the warehouse manager or installation manager in a timely manner.Keep in close contact with the dispatch supervisor if delayed for any reason.Follow all safety regulations and precautions.Performs other related work as requiredEDUCATION/EXPERIENCEEducationHigh school diploma or GEDExperience:5+ years or more related experience and/or trainingExperience with custom built kitchens and cabinetry preferredAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceLicense/Certification:Valid Driver's LicenseDOT CertificationWork Location:Based out of Robinson Headquarters locationMin Salary: USD $30.00/Hr.
