Team SAYO (Say Operations) is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Delivery Associates. As a Delivery Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring packages are delivered to customers in a timely and professional manner. You will be the face of SAYO as you deliver packages to homes (houses, apartments, and multi- family units) and businesses. This is a fast-paced and very physical job; working up to 10 hours a day. This requires determination, stamina, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently.You will have the opportunity to work with a reputable Delivery Service Partner (DSP). - Deliver the correct packages to the correct customers in a timely manner
- Ensure packages are handled with care and delivered in good condition
- Adhere to safety procedures and traffic laws while on the road
- Use company-provided technology to efficiently deliver packages
- Provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet delivery goals
- Follow protocol at all times
- Work in all weather conditions - heat, cold, rain, snow
- Handle stress well
- Take constructive criticism with a willingness to excel at your job
- Have a positive attitude
- Show professionalism and respect to others while on the job
Delivery Driver Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Own your own reliable transportation and working cell phone
- Work at least one weekend day
- Ability to be on the move non-stop for up to 10 hours each work day
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Prior experience in delivery or logistics preferred, but not required
- Excellent navigational skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Desire to be the best you can be at your job
- Must read and comprehend English
